artist based on the california coast.

As an artist I find myself dancing between abstraction and the natural world. I am inspired by the natural environment, including plants, agriculture fields, and the ocean. I also surround myself with books of all types and pull inspiration from them, and sometimes parts of the books end up in some of my artwork. I bounce between a few different art mediums (acrylic, oil, printmaking, and collage) so that I can continuously explore, be playful, and see how my ideas will translate through these mediums and evoke different feelings.
